I studied computer science when that meant compilers, pointers, poring through API documentation, and a fair bit of patience — then spent the latter part of a career in management, further and further from the code. Claude Code and Codex pulled me back in. Everything here started as something I wanted to try building to either solve a problem or learn a new software stack, which is why it is all over the map. Watch someone's kids, earn a credit. Spend it when you want a night out. A small Postgres schema, a lot of Row Level Security, and a social contract doing most of the work.
Chladni
Runs a Gray–Scott reaction–diffusion system on the GPU, drives its parameters from live audio analysis, and ray marches the result as an extruded heightfield at 60 Hz.
Quicken Analysis
Point it at a Quicken Mac CSV export and it produces a single HTML file — spending baseline, net worth, savings rate, and a FIRE-style projection, with the whole dataset inlined.

Feeds your Yelp export through a polite geocoder and produces an interactive Leaflet map colour-coded by review, check-in, or both — plus a printable poster of the same data.
